The School Counselling Department comprises of a qualified and experienced counsellor Mrs.Ashly Siju and an experienced SEN coordinator Mrs.Ken Earlin. The School Counselling Program is based on developmental concepts and theories that recognize the strengths of each student. The programme is preventative and proactive; it encourages students, staff, and the community to appreciate the contributions, rights, and responsibilities of themselves and others. The mission of the counsellors of the Al Ameer English is to provide high quality, comprehensive School Counselling services to all students. Our programs are designed to help all students develop and enhance their academic, social, career, and personal strengths in order to become responsible and productive citizens. There is a commitment to individual uniqueness and the maximum development of human potential. Through the skillful use of strategic, timely, and personal interventions, counsellors customize educational experiences in order to close achievement gaps among high and low performing groups to enhance capabilities and support positive choices.
